1 Kings 4

Solomon set up officers to mind every aspect of his kingdom, from getting food for his household, to overseeing his officers and army. He had priests, housekeepers, and everything else that was required to run things smoothly.

Solomon spoke over 3000 proverbs and had 1,005 sons. This was roughly about 3 sons born for each year of his reign. He had to have many wives.

The wisdom of Solomon gave him a reputation that travelled throughout the known world at that time. He was the wisest and most loved king of all time. God gave Solomon a very big heart. Kings from all over who had heard of Solomon came to hear him as he judged Israel.

When God gives you a talent, it cannot be contained within the confines of your home. Word of your gifts become known to others who wish to learn from you, or hear you, or see what God has given you. It is important to keep God at the front of anything you do, in order to sustain such gift and grow it. This way, the bigger the gift, the bigger God becomes; you have the opportunity to not only tell the world about God, but to show them what He can do with someone like you.
